Compliments Abound

1.) Yesterday evening while Vera and I were packing Syd’s lunch for today, Vera offered to give her one and only Dora the Explorer lollipop to her mom for a lunch treat.

Me: Are you sure you want mom to have your only Dora sucker?

Vera: Yes, cause she’s a good mom.

2.) Last night as I put Vera to bed, she began to get a little rambunctious.

Me: It’s time to stop talking, stop moving around, and get sleepy. You need to start thinking about what you want to dream about.

Vera (hugs me): You make a good daddy.
